MARK JUKES - Partner & Head of NMG London

Mark's professional career began with the UK Ministry of Defence in Whitehall, where he spent ten years in a variety of roles including a stint in the The Rt Hon Alan Clarke MP's Private Office during his time as The Minister of State for Defence Procurement.

Mark then went on to work at Hamish Fulton and Associates, initially as a researcher and then as a consultant. During this time Mark successfully completed mandates in the US, UK and European Equities, Equity Derivatives, Portfolio Trading and Corporate Finance. It was during this time that he also began his specialisation in Japanese Equities.

Mark then moved to Tokyo where he helped establish Spencer Associates, a specialist financial service recruitment provider. By February 2003, the Asia Money magazine poll of head-hunters in Asia (based on votes from the Buy and Sell side community in Tokyo) ranked Spencer Associates 5th overall in Japan, ahead of many of their much larger and established rivals.

In 2004 he moved to Hays Plc, the UK's largest dedicated HR Services and Recruitment provider, where he worked on a variety of senior level Buy and Sell Side appointments.

Mark joined NMG as Head of the Tokyo office in October 2005 and transferred to be head of the London office in September 2007.
